No. 63 emailed us!

My M35, No. 63, is from 10 March 1970 and was bought by a pharmacist,
Mr. Edet, in the Calvados department, license plate 200 QC 14.

Then it was bought by Mr. les Halles, still in the Calvados, same license plate, no date.
On June 24, 1992, he was bought by Mr. Gilles Louis, a retired Citroen
dealer, from Condé sur löw Escaut Dept 59, at the Belgian border, new registration number 7293 TR 59.

While driving from Calvados to the Nord department, the water pump broke and the engine overheated. He then took the engine and the car and added a temperature meter instead of the cigarette lighter.

The man died in 2004, his wife kept the car in the garage for some time.

On September 24, 2007, I bought it, new license plate 35 YA 85.
I only did a few little things about it after he had stood still for a long time. Like the hydraulic regulator (conjoiner/dissoncator) stuck, the spark plugs and ignition system, the tank was cleaned, the oil and the lettering on the screens.....

He's still doing fine, but sometimes he has inflammation problems due to the outdated vacuum mechanism.

The carriage is in very good condition, with a beautiful looking paint, not as new, as I like it. The rev counter and the alarm signal are not working and the 3 hydraulic warning lights are closed, no idea why. I got a few parts (new carburettor, dynamo, but no vacuum control......) and some documents.

I'd like to get in touch with other M35 drivers and hear from you.

Greetings,

Laurent.
